About:
After completing more than 10,000 hours of community service each year for the past two school years, the Towson athletics teams are off to a strong start again for 2014-15. Midway through the fall semester, the department has 100 percent participation from all teams.
“The commitment from the student-athletes, coaches and administration has and continues to be great in impacting our community in a positive and sustained way.”- Antwaine Smith, director of the Total Tiger program.
All fall sports teams have supported the breast cancer awareness campaign by hosting “Pink Games” during the month of October. In September, Towson’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) led the entire athletics department in a very successful effort with the annual Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) blood drive.
In Towson’s push toward another 10,000 hours of community service this school year, many of the teams have spent their community service hours impacting the local Baltimore schools by volunteering as tutors, mentors and assisting with various athletic activities. A number of community partners have been gracious in allowing Tiger Athletics to take part in supporting various causes. They include:

Walk Now for Autism Speaks
