About:
Irvington High School students hosted their annual tea celebration for local senior citizens through the village of Irvington’s Senior Center on April 25. Organized by the members of the Key Club, the event included refreshments, conversation and games provided by the students.
“Every member [of the Key Club] loved the chance to talk to and learn from the older generation” said Sarah Yurczak, a junior and co-president of the club. “There were tons of smiles as food was eaten and games were played.” Yurczak planned the event along with senior Monique Magras, co-president of the club, as well as club members Stephanie Gouchoe, Lily McInerney, Annelies Parke, Erika Sipos and Grace Webber, and club advisors Trish Lyons and Holly Koester.
