About:
Dutch Broadway School fifth-grade students (including student athletes) in Robert Bambrick’s class took part in a planting day on the school’s grounds on Oct. 5. As part of the beautification project, students planted mums by the Dutch Broadway School sign. They were excited to add a splash of color to the landscape and spruce up the grounds in preparation for the Elmont Memorial High School homecoming parade on Oct. 22.
“It was wonderful to be a part of an experience where students took an active role beautifying their campus” Assistant Principal Mr. Brendan Alfieri said.
