About:
On September 11th, one of our athletes suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury during the second half of a regular season game. From that point on, the team and community began a goal to help support the family by any means necessary. Over the course of the rest of the season, the team and surrounding communities raised over $50,000+ for the family. They did this by numerous “pass the helmet” halftime events, donations by families, and a huge successful silent auction. Over the course of numerous hospital visits, the family of the player has spent countless nights away from home in the hospital and many drives to and from the hospital.
