The Community Assist

Recognizing the power of assists beyond the field, court, or trackβ€”this spotlight shines on athletes and teams who elevate their communities through extraordinary acts of service. Each month, we celebrate these MVPs, whose commitment to assisting others creates lasting, positive change, proving that a simple assist can transform lives.

Mineola Girls Soccer: Think Pink Game and Community Impact

For 18 consecutive years, Mineola Girls Soccer has demonstrated their commitment to Breast Cancer Awareness through their annual Think Pink Soccer Game. This year marks another meaningful game as the team, dressed in pink socks, takes to the field in their effort to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. Pink shirts are ordered and sold, and raffles are held, with all proceeds going directly to Breast Cancer Awareness efforts.
