About:
“One CAN Make a Difference” is a student-athlete led holiday food drive designed to serve and support families in and around our local community who have fallen on hard times. Recognizing that the holiday season can bring financial hardship, our mission is to leverage our team’s reach to directly combat local food insecurity. To make donating as accessible as possible, our student-athletes organize a neighborhood porch-pickup initiative. Community members simply leave bags of non-perishable items on their front porches, and our athletes mobilize to collect, sort, and deliver the donations to families in need, fostering a culture of hands-on service and civic leadership off the playing field.
