Adopt an active Air Force Unit Longwood Cheerleading takes part in taking care of our veterans/troops every Veteran’s Day. This year we will be doing something a little different. A Longwood Alumni has just arrived overseas in Iraq. The base his unit is on has very limited supplies (even basic toiletries). So this year we will be adopting their unit as an ENTIRE program. I know how much the simple every day amenities, that we all take for granted, will mean to all of them. Our mission is to make a huge impact on the lives of these men and women, who are sacrificing everything to protect us.
