The Girls and Boys Golf teams created the idea of doing charity work to give back to the Harrison community while raising money for specific charities during this unprecedented time. We called this "Huskies For Hope." Our idea is to have the athletes video themselves while reading one of their favorite children's books. We have been posting a different athletes video on our You tube link along with other district websites, several times per week. At the bottom of the video would be a link that if families chose to, they can donate to the charities that the golf program is supporting: -Feeding Westchester and The Mental Health Fund We have a small blurb about the charities and why we are supporting them. This was a great way for the students to stay connected to the community and show how much they care for others by supporting Feeding Westchester and The Mental Health Fund.
