Students came to school dressed in pink as East Islip’s volleyball teams held their annual Dig Pink fundraiser on Oct. 15 in honor of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Team members sold baked good and T-shirts, raising more than $250 for the cause, during the main-event game in their pink-adorned new gym.
