About:
During our Homecoming celebration we have turned our traditional Homecoming into Homecoming with a Purpose. It allows are Student Council, Royalty Candidates, and school community to come together for a cause. This year we chose Rangers Supporting Rangers which is a non-profit in our school district that provides food backpacks to students and their families every week. Throughout the Homecoming Week our Student Council, Royalty, and school community host various drives like “Soak a Senior” where students pay to pour ice water over the senior candidates, bake sales, car washes, online donations, etc. Our goal then throughout the school year is to continue this support of raising funds and awareness to fight food insecurity in our school district through other financial support of Rangers Supporting Rangers and food/item drives to support our local food shelves.
