About:
CJ Faure is part of our Gravity Cheer family. His big sister, Mackenzie, is an Asteroid! This year, the Faure’s have been working tirelessly to collect and save for an Autism Service Dog for CJ. The benefits of a dog are great but so are the costs. Due to the current pandemic, fundraisers for the family have been cancelled, leaving them $5000 away from their total goal of $20,000.
The 2019-2020 Asteroids are asking for your help to raise the final $5,000 for the Faure family. Once the total amount is covered, the breeding and extensive one year training that is tailored to CJ’s needs can begin.
Already over $1500 dollars raised and these little cheerleaders are doing amazing to get CJ his dog!
Fundraiser will end when they hit their goal!
CJ’s Autism Service Dog Will:
Prevent elopements, a dangerous behavior associated with autism, where individuals inexplicably run away. The dog will prevent CJ from harm and be able to warn the family of any emergency situations.
Be a buddy for CJ! The dog will be a source of comfort during times of anxiety and provide consistency in his life when faced with new environments and experiences.
Create new family memories. Dogs are tethered to their child, allowing them to walk independently and help make outings less stressful on the family. The calming presence of the dog will minimize emotional outburst, enabling the family to do so much more together.
Be on the lookout for all our fundraising efforts! Or you can donate directly to our PayPal or Venmo accounts! Every dollar will be going directly to the family!
