About:
Student athletes from the Leadership Training for Athletes program assisted the Cooperstown Food Pantry with their November delivery.
They assisted in unloading thirteen thousand pounds of food to prepare for the upcoming holidays and provide needed families with essential supplies and food. The students reported that their was some heavy lifting involved, but they got the job done and had fun.
Stacey Smith, Director of the Cooperstown Food Pantry shared the following: “This bunch was particularly fun and encouraging with one another. I heard them say “come on team we can do it”. It was cute even when one of their team was on “light duty” work.” She wrote to thank us for sending student athletes from our group to assist today.
