This year, the girls of the JV & Varsity Lynbrook Kickline team embarked on a heartfelt mission with their “Kicks for a Cure” campaign. After careful consideration and research, they decided to donate the proceeds from the sale of their Lynbrook Owls bracelets to Dancing Dreams, an organization dedicated to providing children with medical or physical challenges the opportunity to participate in dance classes and performances. The team believed in the director Joann Ferrara’s motto “every child deserves the opportunity to dance.” Throughout the season, the team showcased their dedication by performing during halftime at football and basketball games, as well as hosting youth clinics, all in support of this wonderful cause. Their commitment to making a difference in the lives of others through their passion for dance truly embodies the spirit of community and compassion.
