About:
Each year, the Oceanside Best Buddies Club organizes a Thanksgiving Feast for the community to celebrate together. The club gets donations from local businesses to provide food and drinks so that everyone can enjoy an evening of giving thanks. The Best Buddies Club includes students with special needs and general education students who team up to form friendships and end the isolation people with disabilities experience.
The Varsity & JV Cheer teams start the feasts with a performance each year to get everyone pumped for the feast! The fan favorite is when the girls replace our typical “We are – Oceanside” cheer with “Eat Some – Turkey!” It was a great night for everyone involved.
