About:

The Long Island Jr Royals participated in three events with the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island. The first event on Oct. 21st players and staff of the Jr Royals team visited the house for a tour and met with staff and residents. The Jr Royals team returned to the house on Nov. 8th to cook dinner for the residents. A healthy dinner of three entrees, salad and desert were prepared by the players for the 65 residents at the house. The players also mingled with the residents and made several new friends.

On Dec. 9th the Jr. Royals participated in a fundraising event by playing an exhibition game vs. another local Junior Hockey team. As of today $14,485 was raised for the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island with $6,570 raised by the Jr Royals players themselves.
