Community engagement is an important component of the experience as a Division II student-athlete. The student-athletes of Southern Connecticut State University continue to be active in the local community with various ventures.
Since September, 2007, Owls’ student-athletes have volunteered almost 20,000 hours to outreach ventures both on-campus and in the Greater New Haven community.
