About:

There is always a need at Taunton High School for basic essentials such as clothes and hygiene products, and with the spring season coming up, we did not want any student to feel discouraged by the fact that they did not have the necessary equipment or clothing required for participation. Our plan was to collect some shorts, t-shirts, masks, etc., for the student body, and distribute them to those students who could otherwise not participate.

Thanks to the efforts and support of Ms. Kristin Sullivan of the THS Tiger Shack, and the generosity of the THS students and staff, we were able to collect shorts, masks, shirts, sneakers, deodorant, and other athletic gear, and distribute them to students in need to use in the upcoming spring season. Special thanks to Mr. Mattos for allowing the donation bin to be set up in the main lobby, and again to Kristin Sullivan for accepting our donations into her already impressive arsenal of clothes, food, and hygiene products.

I encourage anyone who is considering a service project to start sooner rather than later, and involve your friends and teachers, because a large undertaking is far less intimidating with a team of determined people at your side.
