About:
Sparkill, N.Y. – On Saturday, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Women’s Lacrosse Team laced up their sneakers for a good cause. The team took part in the Third Annual Friends of Jaclyn Foundation Angel Walk, which was held at Walkway Over the Hudson River, located in Poughkeepsie, NY.
The team, which has a special connection to the foundation, took steps at the walk in honor of their “little sister” Molly Kimball, who the team adopted through the FOJ program several years ago in support of her on-going and courageous battle with childhood cancer.
The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for children battling pediatric brain tumors and other childhood cancers by pairing them with local high school and college sports teams.
A donation page has been set up to raise funds for the Angel Walk and Friends of Jaclyn, so we ask you to please give whatever you can for this great cause by clicking the link below. The Women’s Lacrosse Team thanks you in advance for your donation, as you help the team in their efforts to help FOJ to continue to improve the lives of children such as Molly Kimball.
