About:
The Corning Hawks Football Team is turning the field pink in a powerful show of unity and awareness. On October 24, the Hawks will face Ithaca in their annual District-Wide “Pink Out” Game — an event dedicated to raising awareness and support in the fight against breast cancer.
Fans are encouraged to fill the stands in pink as the community rallies together under the theme “Hawks Tackle Breast Cancer.” Pink T-shirts are available for $10, and pink wristbands for $1, with proceeds supporting breast cancer awareness and research efforts.
The initiative reflects the team’s commitment to using their platform for good — showing that leadership extends beyond the field. Through events like this, Corning’s student-athletes are learning that the most meaningful victories come from the impact they make off the field, standing shoulder to shoulder with those fighting this disease.
Together, the Corning Hawks are proving that when a community unites with heart and purpose, they can tackle even the toughest challenges.
