About:
The St. Michael–Albertville (STMA) High School Boys Hockey Team is taking action off the ice to make a difference in their community! This fall, the team has partnered with the Epilepsy Foundation to host a “Clean Out Your Closet” donation drive, collecting gently used cloth items to support those in need.
From October 26 through November 7, the team is encouraging community members to drop off bagged cloth donations at the STMA Arena. Items accepted include:
Clothing – men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel
Clothing accessories – hats, gloves, scarves, and ties
Personal accessories – purses, wallets, belts, and bags
Bed and bath items – sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, and curtains
Shoes – all types welcome
Please note that electronics, appliances, and furniture are not accepted.
Through this partnership, the STMA Boys Hockey Team is not only helping the Epilepsy Foundation raise funds and awareness, but also showing how small acts of generosity can make a lasting impact.
By cleaning out closets, the team is helping to create opportunities — proving once again that leadership, teamwork, and service extend far beyond the rink.
