The John Glenn Football team showed what it truly means to be champions—both on and off the field—this past Sunday. As part of the Town of Huntington’s annual food drive, the players came together to volunteer their time and energy, spending three hours collecting donations outside a local grocery store.
Their teamwork and enthusiasm paid off in a big way. By the end of the day, they had filled 12 full shopping carts with donated food items, all going to support families in need through the Huntington Food Bank.
The coaches and players shared how proud they were to make a difference beyond the gridiron. Their efforts not only provided meals for local families but also brought the community together around a shared goal of kindness and giving.
