The CCCSD Girls Soccer Team continues to demonstrate what it means to lead with heart—both on and off the field. Recently, the players dedicated an evening to packing food backpacks in support of families within their local community.
For two hours, the athletes worked together to collect donations, organize supplies, and fill backpacks with nutritious food items to help children and families in need. The initiative was done in partnership with a local community center that provides direct assistance to residents facing food insecurity.
“We felt it was important for the girls to give back to the community that continues to support them on their journey.”
Their commitment ensured that kids within their own school community would have access to essential meals during challenging times.
This meaningful act of service reflects the team’s dedication, compassion, and teamwork — powerful reminders of the positive impact student-athletes can make when they come together for a cause greater than themselves.
