Merrick Avenue Middle School and Calhoun High School once again came together to host their inspiring Flag Field of Honor, uniting students, staff, veterans, officials, and community members to pay tribute to those who have served our country.
This cherished annual tradition raised over $10,000 to benefit Honor Flight Long Island and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation — two incredible organizations that support veterans and their families through life-changing programs and services.
The breathtaking flag display will remain in place through the first week of December, serving as a powerful reminder of gratitude, service, and community spirit.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who sponsored flags, volunteered their time, and helped make this event such a meaningful success. Your efforts truly embody what it means to serve and honor others.
