This fall, the Rye Neck Boys JV Soccer Team came together for an incredible cause through their annual “Pink Out” Initiative, led by freshman student-athlete Charlie Barker.
What began as a simple idea to give back quickly grew into a community-wide effort. A total of 20 fall teams across the varsity, JV, and modified levels joined in, purchasing shirts and making donations to support Soul Ryeders and cancer research.
The results were inspiring. The teams surpassed their $6,000 goal, raising an impressive $7,470 through shirt sales and generous contributions.
This initiative is a powerful reminder of how one student’s leadership and a team’s unity can make a lasting difference. Congratulations to Charlie Barker, the Rye Neck Boys JV Soccer Team, and the entire Rye Neck community for their commitment to supporting those impacted by cancer and spreading hope through sport.
