It was a full day of service and spirit for the Lakeland Field Hockey team!
In the morning, the players proudly participated in the Support Connection Walk, showing their support for those affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Later that same day, the team gave back to the sport they love by volunteering with SOAC Youth Field Hockey, helping young athletes learn the fundamentals of teamwork, confidence, and fun on the field.
The day was a perfect example of what it means to be a student-athlete — using teamwork and dedication not only to win games but to make a difference in the community.
