The Under the Lights Clinic lit up the field on Friday night as the Ward Melville Football program hosted an unforgettable evening of football, fun, and community giving.
The free clinic invited players of all ages to take the field under the lights and learn from the Varsity team, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and teamwork. While there was no cost to attend, participants were encouraged to bring a new stuffed animal to donate to the local fire and ambulance company, helping bring comfort to children in need.
Everyone who donated received a free “Pass It Forward” T-shirt (while supplies lasted) and a high five from the Varsity players — a small token of appreciation for supporting a meaningful cause.
The event also featured several local training facilities, including Vibranium Barbell, WhitFit Athletics LI, and Prime Performance Sports, who joined in with giveaways and shared information about their programs.
The night was a great success, highlighting what makes the Ward Melville community so special — players, families, and local partners coming together to make a difference both on and off the field.
