About:
Two communities along Route 80 are uniting once again in the fight against cancer. On Saturday, October 11, 2025, Fabius-Pompey and Tully will gather at Tully High School for the 10th Annual Communities Kickin’ Cancer Soccer Games, an event dedicated to raising awareness and critical funds for families facing cancer.
This long-standing tradition has become a powerful symbol of unity, compassion, and purpose. Over the years, the event has rallied hundreds of students, families, and local supporters—proving just how much impact small communities can make when they come together for a cause that touches everyone in some way.
This year’s proceeds will once again benefit the Upstate Cancer Center in Syracuse, helping provide the best possible medical care and supporting families through some of their most difficult moments. Last year, the event proudly donated $20,000, and organizers are determined to meet that same milestone again in 2025.
Community members, local businesses, and organizations are encouraged to participate as sponsors. With multiple sponsorship levels—from Individual Contributor to Diamond Level—there are meaningful ways for everyone to get involved. All sponsors will be recognized in the event program and celebrated for helping to “kick cancer” in our communities.
As the event enters its tenth year, the spirit of solidarity is stronger than ever. The annual Kickin’ Cancer T-shirt, featuring both communities united under one goal, continues to be a beloved symbol of hope and teamwork.
Together, Fabius-Pompey and Tully show that even in small towns, the fight against cancer is met with big heart. With continued support, this year’s event is poised to make an incredible impact once again.
