About:
The season of giving is in full swing at Hewlett High School, where the Student Council has kicked off its 5th Annual Holiday Toy Drive to support children at SIBSPlace, a local organization serving kids ages 5 to 17 who are coping with a sibling or parent facing serious illness.
From December 1 through December 16, students, families, faculty, and community members are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys to brighten the holidays for children in need. Clearly marked, beautifully wrapped donation boxes are stationed in both the HHS Main Hallway and Gym Hallway, making it easy for everyone to drop off contributions throughout the school day.
In addition to schoolwide giving, Hewlett is inviting supporters to bring a toy while attending the upcoming Hewlett Bulldogs vs. Calhoun Colts games. It’s a perfect opportunity to cheer on the athletes while spreading meaningful holiday cheer.
This annual initiative continues to demonstrate the powerful impact of student-led service. Year after year, the Hewlett community rallies together to lift up others—and this tradition is a shining example of compassion in action.
Let’s help make this year’s toy drive the biggest one yet!
