Stony Brook Athletics continues to exemplify what it means to lead both on and off the field. This Thanksgiving season, Seawolves student-athletes teamed up with News12 for their annual holiday food drive—an effort that directly supports members of the Stony Brook community.
Last week, student-athletes personally hand-delivered food donations to the Stony Brook University Food Pantry. Their contributions will help ensure that students and families facing food insecurity have access to essential items during a time when support is needed most.
This initiative reflects Stony Brook’s strong commitment to service, teamwork, and community pride. By stepping up during the holiday season, these young leaders showed that their impact stretches far beyond competition. Their dedication reminds us that acts of kindness—big or small—can make a meaningful difference.
