The West Islip Health and Wellness Alliance lit up the night once again as it hosted its second annual Glow Run, bringing together more than 400 participants for an evening dedicated to health, fun, and community connection on the West Islip High School campus.
Families, students, and community members followed a ¾-mile illuminated course, glowing under the stars as they ran and walked together. Held in conjunction with Family Connect Night, the event encouraged families to unplug, spend meaningful time with one another, and embrace the importance of wellness and positive relationships—core goals of the Alliance.
The night was filled with vibrant energy, laughter, and a true sense of unity as volunteers, emergency personnel, district staff, and community organizations worked together to create a memorable experience.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the Health and Wellness Committee, WIASA, West Islip emergency personnel, the custodial and grounds crews, and all the student and community volunteers whose efforts helped make the event a glowing success.
The continued growth of the Glow Run reflects West Islip’s strong commitment to fostering a healthy, connected, and caring community for all.
