About:
Students at Santapogue Elementary School are embracing the true spirit of giving this Thanksgiving season through a meaningful, schoolwide effort to support local families in need.
Throughout the building, students and staff have been participating in a Thanksgiving food drive, collecting essential items to help brighten the holiday for members of the community.
First graders have taken the lesson even further. As part of their classroom discussions about kindness, generosity, and community spirit, the first grade classes launched their own Thanksgiving food drive, gathering donations that will directly support neighbors in need.
Through these hands-on acts of service, Santapogue students are gaining a deeper understanding of what it means to give back—proving that even the smallest hands can make a big difference. Their generosity and compassion continue to strengthen the West Babylon community during this season of gratitude.
