About:
The Franklin High School Hockey team showed that their impact extends far beyond the ice by dedicating time this season to a meaningful service project benefiting the Santa Foundation.
Over the weekend, Panther hockey players worked together to make blankets for individuals and families supported by the Santa Foundation. The hands-on effort was a powerful example of teamwork, compassion, and leadership, as student-athletes came together with a shared goal of spreading warmth and kindness during the holiday season.
The project was made possible with support from Franklin Mill Store, whose partnership helped bring the initiative to life. The collaboration highlighted how schools, nonprofits, and local businesses can work together to create meaningful community impact.
By stepping away from competition to focus on service, Franklin Hockey continues to demonstrate what it means to give back and lead with heart. Their efforts reflect the true spirit of the season and serve as a reminder that athletics can be a powerful platform for positive change.
