About:
Wrestling teaches lessons that extend far beyond wins and losses, and that message was on full display during this team’s annual Ronald McDonald House Giving Back Day.
Student-athletes dedicated their time to supporting families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Charities, offering help, compassion, and presence during an especially meaningful moment for the team. This year’s service carried added significance, as the wrestlers came together to give back while one of their own was hurting—turning support outward while strengthening bonds within.
The experience reinforced core values central to the sport of wrestling: resilience, empathy, and responsibility to others. By stepping into service together, the team demonstrated that true strength is shown not only on the mat, but in moments of care and community connection.
Through their continued commitment to this annual tradition, the wrestling program exemplifies how athletics can shape character, build unity, and make a lasting difference for families in need.
