About:
The Visitation School community once again showcased the strength of tradition, generosity, and service through its annual Christmas Stocking Project, spreading joy to children and families throughout the holiday season.
With the incredible support of Vis families and alumnae, the entire school community came together to cut, sew, decorate, and fill more than 500 Christmas stockings. These thoughtfully prepared stockings were distributed to eight local agencies in North Minneapolis, including Visitation Monastery, ensuring the impact reached children close to home.
Vis students played an active role at every stage of the project—from preparation to delivery—helping bring the stockings to families and participating in a joyful holiday celebration. The experience brought students and families together for a meaningful Christmas party rooted in connection, gratitude, and the true spirit of the season.
This long-standing tradition reflects Visitation’s deep commitment to service and student leadership. By engaging students directly in hands-on service, the Christmas Stocking Project fosters empathy, responsibility, and a greater understanding of community needs.
Through compassion and collective effort, the Visitation community once again transformed generosity into joy—proving that when students lead with heart, their impact extends far beyond the holidays.
