EPHS Girls Basketball recently showed what leadership and service truly look like through their Give & Go Mentoring Event, bringing high school athletes together with EPGBA players for a powerful day of teamwork and giving back.
Through this student-led initiative, athletes packed and delivered an impressive 472 pounds of food to support families in need. By combining mentorship with hands-on service, the event created meaningful connections between younger players and varsity athletes while addressing a real community need.
The Give & Go Mentoring Event highlights how student-athletes can use their platform to lead with purpose—organizing, participating, and making a direct impact beyond competition. From planning and execution to delivery and mentorship, EPHS athletes took on active roles that demonstrated responsibility, compassion, and leadership.
