ME Athletics took time to recognize the educators who make a lasting difference during Teacher Appreciation Night at Girls Basketball, celebrating the teachers, mentors, and school staff who shape students both in and out of the classroom.
Each student-athlete invited an educator who has had a profound impact on their life—someone who has inspired them, supported their growth, or encouraged them to be their best. Before tipoff, those educators were honored and thanked for their role in guiding students every day.
The evening served as a powerful reminder that success in athletics is closely tied to support in the classroom. Teachers help student-athletes develop discipline, confidence, and perseverance—qualities that extend far beyond the court.
