Franklin High School Girls Basketball is turning game night into an opportunity to celebrate educators and support the local community. On Tuesday, February 3, the Panthers will host Taunton for a special Teacher Appreciation Nightwhile also taking part in the annual Franklin Food Pantry SOUPER Bowl initiative.
The SOUPER Bowl is a friendly, community-wide effort benefiting the Franklin Food Pantry, encouraging fans to donate cans of soup or contribute through the pantry’s Amazon Wishlist. Donations collected during the campaign help support local families facing food insecurity during the winter months.
By pairing Teacher Appreciation Night with this meaningful service effort, FHS Girls Basketball and its boosters are using the spotlight of athletics to recognize the teachers who make a difference every day and to rally support for neighbors in need. It’s a powerful example of how school communities can come together to celebrate gratitude, generosity, and impact—on and off the court.
