Students at Westhampton Beach High School recently combined school spirit and community service through a volleyball tournament organized by the school’s Student Government.
The event brought students together for a fun, competitive tournament while supporting an important local cause. Through participation and fundraising, the event raised $360 for local food pantries, helping support families in need.
Teams competed throughout the tournament, with Team $$$ earning the championship title. Beyond the competition, the event highlighted the power of students coming together to make a difference while building school unity.
Student Government leaders also expressed appreciation for the school’s Physical Education teachers, whose support helped ensure the tournament ran smoothly from start to finish.
Community support also played an important role in the event’s success. Hurricane Deli generously donated $20 gift certificates to each tournament winner, adding an extra layer of excitement while supporting student efforts to give back.
