About:
Croton-Harmon Athletics recently hosted a successful Booster Club Youth Basketball Clinic, bringing together young athletes and varsity and junior varsity boys and girls basketball players for an evening focused on skill development, mentorship, and community connection.
During the clinic, younger participants had the opportunity to learn fundamental basketball skills — including dribbling, shooting, and teamwork — while receiving hands-on instruction from high school student-athletes and coaches. Through fun drills, games, and interactive activities, the event created an energetic and supportive environment where youth players could grow their confidence and love for the game.
Beyond skill-building, the clinic highlighted the important leadership role that high school athletes play within their communities. By mentoring younger students and helping to strengthen the program from the ground up, Croton-Harmon players demonstrated sportsmanship, responsibility, and a commitment to giving back.
Events like this help foster school pride and build lasting connections between athletes across grade levels. The clinic not only supported youth development but also reinforced the values of teamwork, leadership, and community that define Croton-Harmon Athletics — proving that once you are part of the Tiger family, you are always a Tiger.
