About:
Port Washington Cheerleading played an important role in creating a spirited, meaningful atmosphere at the school’s recent Coaches vs. Cancer basketball event.
Cheerleaders from both the sideline and competition teams energized the crowd throughout the evening and delivered an exciting halftime performance, helping to bring the community together in support of cancer awareness and fundraising efforts. Their enthusiasm and school pride helped elevate the event experience for players, fans, and families in attendance.
The night celebrated not only another strong performance by the Port Washington boys basketball team, but also the collective commitment of student-athletes to stand behind important causes. By supporting initiatives like Coaches vs Cancer, cheerleaders and athletic programs continue to use their platform to promote unity, compassion, and positive community impact.
Events like this highlight the many ways students contribute beyond competition — demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and a shared dedication to making a difference.
