About:
Student leaders at Esko Schools recently demonstrated the power of service and compassion as members of the freshmen CREW service group came together to support families staying at Ronald McDonald House Northland.
During a dedicated lunchtime service project, students worked as a team to assemble 120 snack bags to help ensure families have easy access to nourishment while focusing on what matters most — caring for their child’s health. The initiative provided meaningful, hands-on support for families facing difficult medical journeys.
In addition to preparing the snack bags, students also took time to learn more about the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities and the critical services they provide to families of seriously ill children. This educational component helped deepen students’ understanding of community needs and the importance of giving back.
The project highlighted the leadership, teamwork, and empathy of Esko’s freshmen class, showing how even small acts of kindness can create a big impact. Through their efforts, these students not only supported families in need but also strengthened a culture of service and connection within their school community.
