About:
The Brighton JV and Varsity Lacrosse teams recently took time off the field to make a meaningful impact in their community, volunteering with Foodlink and demonstrating what it truly means to be student-athlete leaders.
Working together, the athletes helped support Foodlink’s mission by assisting with hands-on tasks, including organizing and preparing items for distribution and helping maintain the organization’s vehicles. Their efforts played a direct role in supporting families in need and ensuring resources reach the community efficiently.
Beyond the work itself, the experience provided an opportunity for players to connect, collaborate, and give back as a team. Whether cleaning, organizing, or lending a helping hand wherever needed, the athletes showed pride, responsibility, and a strong commitment to service.
Moments like these highlight the power of education-based athletics—where teamwork extends beyond the game and into the community. By stepping up to serve, Brighton Lacrosse continues to set an example of leadership, compassion, and impact.
