Student-athletes from Mahopac’s PAC & Field program recently stepped up in a big way, volunteering their time at a local Special Olympics event—creating a memorable and meaningful experience for everyone involved.
Throughout the day, the athletes supported participants, cheered them on, and helped ensure the event ran smoothly. Their energy, encouragement, and positivity helped create an inclusive and uplifting environment where every athlete could shine.
More than just volunteering, the experience gave Mahopac’s student-athletes the opportunity to connect, lead, and give back—demonstrating the true spirit of sportsmanship and community.
It was truly a great day for all involved, and a powerful reminder of the impact student-athletes can have when they use their platform to support others.
