About:
On April 4, varsity players spent time giving back to the next generation of “Rockets,” helping younger athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. As shared by the program, it was another great day of varsity athletes stepping up to support and guide future players within their lacrosse community.
This type of engagement highlights the importance of mentorship in high school athletics. By working directly with younger players, varsity athletes are not only sharing their knowledge of the game but also modeling teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. These interactions help build a stronger program culture where success is measured not just in wins, but in the growth of the entire community.
Moments like these reflect the lasting impact of high school sports—where older athletes become role models and younger athletes are inspired to continue the tradition of hard work and commitment.
