About:
Student-athletes from Valhalla High School are using their platform to promote awareness, inclusion, and community support in a meaningful way.
During this week’s “Light It Up Blue” initiative, Valhalla’s modified squads showed their support by arriving at practice dressed in blue—symbolizing unity and raising awareness for autism acceptance. The effort reflects the growing commitment of student-athletes to lead with purpose both on and off the field.
The day was made even more special thanks to the generosity of SEPTA, who provided blue hair accessories and a fun ice cream treat for students after practice. Their partnership helped create an engaging and memorable experience while reinforcing the importance of inclusion within the school community.
This initiative highlights how small actions—like showing up in blue—can send a powerful message. Through participation, school spirit, and community collaboration, Valhalla student-athletes continue to lead by example, fostering a culture of acceptance and support for all.
