About:
Building connections between youth athletes and high school programs is a powerful way to grow the game—and the Putnam Valley lacrosse community is doing just that.
Recently, members of the Putnam Valley Youth Lacrosse program had the opportunity to attend a varsity game, thanks to the leadership and hospitality of the Putnam Valley Tigers Lacrosse. The young athletes were invited to cheer on the Tigers, creating an exciting and memorable experience for all involved.
From the sidelines, youth players enthusiastically supported the varsity team, soaking in the energy of game day while getting a firsthand look at the level of play they can aspire to reach. Events like this not only strengthen community bonds but also help inspire younger athletes to stay engaged, work hard, and continue developing their skills.
The experience left a lasting impression, as the youth players had the chance to connect with role models and feel like part of something bigger within the Putnam Valley lacrosse family.
Through moments like these, the Tigers are helping to build more than just a team—they’re building a strong, connected community and inspiring the next generation of student-athletes.
