About:
The Babylon Girls Lacrosse recently showed that their season is about far more than wins and losses.
In a meaningful matchup against Bellport Girls Lacrosse, Babylon took the field in support of Morgan’s Message, helping raise awareness for student-athlete mental health and the importance of supporting one another both on and off the field.
The event brought together athletes, families, and the local community for a day centered on compassion, connection, and awareness. Adding to the special atmosphere, the third-grade PAL team took the field at halftime, giving younger players an opportunity to be part of an inspiring day that highlighted the true impact sports can have beyond competition.
Through initiatives like this, Babylon Girls Lacrosse continues to demonstrate the power of athletics to create conversations, strengthen communities, and remind everyone that no one has to struggle alone.
A great day for lacrosse—and an even greater day for supporting mental health awareness.
