About:
Rocky Point High School student-athlete Louis has made a lasting impact through his dedication to community service, leadership, and mentorship both inside and outside the classroom.
Throughout his time at Rocky Point High School, Louis has consistently given back by building meaningful relationships with teachers, classmates, and younger students through volunteerism. As a member of both the National Honor Society and Math Honor Society for the past two years, he has regularly tutored fellow students, helping peers build confidence and succeed academically. Depending on testing schedules and student needs, Louis volunteers his time once or twice each week to support others in their educational journey.
His commitment to service extends throughout the school community as well. During the school’s annual Open House, Louis volunteered to help guide families throughout the building so parents could connect with their child’s teachers and feel welcomed into the school environment.
Beyond the classroom, Louis has also dedicated countless hours to supporting youth athletics. He volunteers as a coach during the week-long Rocky Point Youth Lacrosse camps held each fall and summer, mentoring student-athletes in grades K–6 and helping inspire the next generation through sportsmanship and leadership.
In addition, Louis has participated in the annual Rocky Point Lacrosse clothing drive, helping collect gently used clothing that is donated to thrift stores and charitable organizations to support those in need.
Over the past four years, Louis has volunteered more than 200 hours of community service, demonstrating remarkable consistency, compassion, and leadership. His dedication serves as an inspiring example of how student-athletes can create meaningful change within their schools and communities.
