About:
Jordan Peck has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to community service, leadership, and personal growth through extensive involvement in school organizations, volunteer initiatives, and local community programs.
With more than 200 documented hours of community service — in addition to over 100 hours of self-betterment activities — Jordan’s dedication to serving others has earned him the prestigious Gold Distinguished Youth Award twice. Throughout his high school career, he has taken on numerous leadership roles, including serving as Jazz Band Captain, Concert Band Section Leader, and Marching Band Section Leader, where he mentored younger students, helped organize practices and performances, and fostered teamwork and accountability among his peers.
Jordan is also an active member of several organizations, including National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Renaissance Club, Students for a Better World, Academic Team, Photography Club, and Environmental Club, continually finding new ways to make a positive impact within his school and community.
Beyond school involvement, Jordan has dedicated his time to a variety of meaningful service initiatives. He participated in the Ride for Life Marathon, volunteered as a holiday caroler to bring joy to community members during the holiday season, and contributed to Emily’s Awesome Toy Drive to support children and families in need.
One of Jordan’s most unique contributions was creating and leading a “How to Fly a Drone” educational program in the North Babylon community, introducing younger students and residents to drone technology and safety. He also spent nearly a year shadowing and interning at a physical therapy clinic serving elderly patients, where he developed valuable interpersonal skills while helping others.
In addition, Jordan participated in the Book Buddies program and the North Babylon Library National Book Survey Competition. Demonstrating his commitment to environmental stewardship, he also helped visit and maintain more than 15 state parks throughout Suffolk County.
Through his compassion, initiative, leadership, and dedication to service, Jordan Peck continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around him and serves as an outstanding example of community leadership.
