Sayville proudly hosted the annual Fit Club event at Lincoln Avenue, presented by the Suffolk Zone of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. Students from all three Sayville elementary schools joined participants from 31 other schools across Suffolk County for a day centered around fitness, teamwork, wellness, and fun.
The event encouraged students to build healthy habits while strengthening friendships through movement, collaboration, and positive experiences. Throughout the day, students participated in engaging activities designed to promote active lifestyles and inclusive participation.
A special part of the event was the support from student volunteers from Sayville Middle School and Sayville High School, along with community volunteers, who helped create an encouraging and welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved. Their leadership and dedication helped make the event a memorable celebration of school spirit, wellness, and community connection.
